CATLIN GROUP LIMITED ANNOUNCES
CHANGES TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
HAMILTON, Bermuda - Catlin Group Limited ('CGL'; London Stock Exchange), the international specialty property/casualty
insurer and reinsurer, announces two changes to the Board of Directors.
Michael Harper will resign from the Group's Board of Directors effective 1 July 2010 due to the demands of his other
commitments. He was appointed as Senior Independent Director of Catlin in July 2005.
Bruce Carnegie-Brown has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 August 2010. He will be subject to
election by shareholders at the Company's Annual General Meeting in 2011.
Bruce Carnegie-Brown was formerly Managing Partner and founder of 3i Group plc's quoted private equity team and was a
member of 3i's Group Management Committee. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Marsh Limited's European and
Middle Eastern operations. Prior to joining Marsh, he spent 18 years at JP Morgan in a variety of roles including Senior
Credit Officer for Europe, Middle East and Africa, Chairman of JP Morgan Securities Asia based in Tokyo and Head of Debt
Capital Markets in Europe and Asia.
