Casualty Reinsurance
Underwriting Appetite
Casualty Reinsurance is written by teams specialising in US and
International business. All are considered market leaders in their
field and are happy to consider clients’ individual
requirements and work with them to provide bespoke products.
The US Casualty Reinsurance book is a long established portfolio
at Catlin, and is written predominantly on a non-proportional
basis. Underwriters are happy to consider offering support to
primary insurers, insured-owned captives, mutuals and risk
retention groups.
The non-US portfolio has been expanded to include classes
including Public and Products Liability, Employers Liability and PI
as well as Motor, also predominantly on a non-proportional basis.
The book offers protection to primary insurers based in the UK and
Overseas. All Catlin offices will be happy to work with clients to
offer solutions.
