Marine Hull

Catlin is a significant player in the London hull insurance market and a recognised leader for Hull and Machinery coverage, Shipbuilding risks, Mortgagees Interest insurance and yacht insurance.

The account is predominantly written on a direct basis via Lloyd’s brokers. Some classes such as Yachts are written via carefully managed delegated underwriting authority arrangements or via brokers' line-slips.

The majority of the Catlin hull account is written at London at Lloyd’s, but Catlin Asia plays an increasing role with dedicated underwriters in both Singapore and Hong Kong.
