Underwriter
Julian began his career at broker Stewart Wrightson in London in 1983. He moved into underwriting in 1986 with AIG Europe where he remained for eight years before moving to CIGNA (now Ace) in London in 1994 as one of the founding underwriters of that company's D&O department. He was appointed the UK D&O manager in 1997 and regional D&O manager in 2003. Julian joined Catlin in June 2004 as a class underwriter for UK D&O and Pension Trustees Liability.

Underwriter
Laura graduated from the University of Kent in 2005 with a BBA (Hons) in Business Administration. She joined Catlin after graduating as a compliance and risk management assistant. In May 2007 she transferred to the Directors’ and Officers’ Liability team as an underwriting assistant. In December 2008 Laura progressed to assistant underwriter.
