UK General Liability

Catlin UK writes general liability insurance for a wide range of smaller to medium size commercial clients. We specifically target companies in ‘mid range’ industries which have a low level of attritional losses. We seek to insure companies with a commitment to health and safety and risk control.

Catlin UK works closely with clients and their brokers in this class, using its significant underwriting expertise to design creative coverage solutions. Catlin UK uses its own policy wordings and prefers to act as lead underwriter wherever possible. We normally write 100% of a general liability account. When writing on an excess basis, we aim to underwrite coverage for mid to larger size companies.

We work closely with brokers to build a flexible, supportive relationship.
